Do Good Deeds in Life

You don't have to do complex things in life, when you want to do Good.
Simple good deeds or deeds that does not bother others will make you happy.
Some simple deeds I have done:
Maintaining a bird feeder and am very happy to see the wild song birds happily feed on it.
I wake up every morning to their chirping sounds. It is excellent to watch them on this bird feeder.
I have seen they share food among them. I feel better seeing these wonderful birds.

My wife maintains a wonderful rose garden. She loves to take pictures of these roses. I enjoy both the natural roses in variety of colors and photo of these roses that she takes.It was always better to grow some kind of produce in your area. Flowers, fruits, edible plants and greens and those tastes excellent, if you grow yourself. It is one the happiest things that you can experience.

If you have some knowledge in a field, teach it to someone who is interested in learning them. I have knowledge in Environmental and Information Technology. I teach it to whoever is interested in them. I have taught to individuals and they are excelling in these fields with flying colors. I am proud of them when I see they excel more than me. I feel that happiness when I am teaching, incorporating my knowledge to other people and they excel.

Teach what subject you know very well - to others

I feel happy whenever I could create a job opportunity for a person. A job is always a first step for a person in his professional ladder. Not everyone can be an entrepreneur and become rich. There are several factors that influences that. But everyone with good effort can get a job, save some money and experience and
if interested one can start their own company. I always feel happy when I train somebody to get a job. It is always good thing that you can provide a job.

Respect everyone and you get the same treatment. That will make you more and more cheerful.

I created a project called Sustainable Organic Natural Agriculture - EA Farms - land development which has grown from a small to huge project. In Information Technology I was able to guide developers to develop products such as EA Toxics (USEPA related) and EA Generics (USFDA related).

I envision that to grow more.Hard work and your own projects bring lots and lots of joy. Never give up on your projects and add small effort to it everyday and it will grow with God's grace. If a person like me can do these projects, then think about what a true leader of a country can do for the country.
Wherever you are, please do such things and you will reap good things too.

Wetlands Festival, Free Backyard Trees, Arborday, Better Events for Communities and Environment

During this weekend, I had a wonderful opportunity to attend 13^th Orlando Wetlands Festival.

If opportunities are available in any community, these types of events should be conducted for the betterment of communities, societies, groups and environment. Parks and Recreation Department gave us a free backyard tree in celebration of Arbor Day.

We received a cherry plum tree. Hopefully one day we will get excellent plums from this tree in our backyard.

Wetlands are very important environment for every country in the planet. Also wide ranges of fauna and flora are available in these environments. We had a wonderful walk in the Fort Christmas Historical Park wetlands area.

During the walk we saw a huge alligator eating a huge turtle. Several beautiful birds were flying, swimming and feeding in the wetlands.

Excellent Photographic and bird watching trails were there.

There were several environmental societies and departments having their booths. I had the opportunity to talk to them. Few years back, I did research on Atrazine and wetlands. People who were in the Department of Environmental Protection told me that Atrazine is still the major chemical that enters the wetlands. Hopefully atrazine don’t affect the wetlands, since in Florida, sunshine is always there and atrazine degrades better with sunlight in wetland environment than any other water bodies. Also, I hope for making future environmental association with these environmental groups and departments.

Audubon society booths were there with live birds including the beautiful, wonderful and majestic Bald Eagle.

I wish that this type of events should be conducted in every part of world for the betterment of societies, communities and environment.

Eco-Justice for Whales, Animals and Eradicate War, Racism from the face of Mother Earth

It is very hard to comprehend that 30 whales had been hunted this year, especially if you follow and practice eco-justice.

Over the years I have been successful with help of my team, in creating eco-friendly land systems, sustainable agricultural lands and eco-friendly backyards.

We feel ultimate happiness when we see a small bird feeding from our backyard and hence it is very hard to read that whales, tigers, rhinos and other wild animals are hunted just for the wrong reasons.

Most of my life I was non-vegetarian and it took a while for me to understand the environment, ecosystems and religious systems to become a vegetarian. If I can change that way, I hope and pray that others can change or at least move towards the change (From 30 whales to 0 whales hunting, It would be great).

If I could not comprehend whale killing, how can I comprehend human killing by means of war. I cannot believe, even in the 21st century we are having so many wars and did not learn a thing from the past. My dear brothers and sisters from all over Globe, please learn from the past and live together peacefully. There are so many positive things to do on this great Mother Earth. Kick the negativeness out and move forward.

Also I was surprised to see that racism exists in twenty first century. Again I could not comprehend that we still need boards to display 'say no to racism' in football (soccer) world cup matches.

We all know the outer color is due to the environment we (and previous generations) are (were) exposed to and the inner blood color is the same. I hope and pray racism gets eradicated soon from Mother Earth. We all should focus on tolerating each other, live peacefully, harmoniously, follow eco-justice for animals and elevate the nature of human kind.

Environmental Conservation in Action

There is no denying that one enjoys when present in green surroundings, pristine and clean environment. Viewing green mountains, water falls, streams, creeks, chirping birds, majestic animals and wonderful environment make you feel better. Recently, I visited Great Smoky Mountains and enjoyed the great environment when I was there. As an environmental scientist, I felt great to be in Great Smoky Mountains. Everyone I saw there (different and variety of people) had one thing in common, happiness. They were happy when doing variety of activities such as diving, swimming, hiking, walking and camping.

All these happiness in a green environment was possible due to people who thought about it and conserved this place. Only few years back the trees were cut and almost made the mountains bald. Due to the conservation effort by great leaders and people who thought of future, the greenery and environment of these Great Smoky Mountains have been saved. It has become an important International Biosphere Reserve. Now let us do our part to save such remaining great environments for our future generations.

Yes on 1 Florida - The Water and Land Conservation Amendment

Every time you visit a national park or even a national preserve, you have think of the greats such as John Muir, President Roosevelt and many other visionaries who had saved these lands for us.
Every inch of these lands is beauty to watch. When you enter them, it is pristine, you breath the fresh air and have fun in the nature.
I can't even think of disturbing these saved land.
Now in Florida to save these Lands and Water - we have to vote Yes on 1 - The Water and Land Conservation Amendment.

Voting Yes on this Amendment 1 will give us opportunity to enjoy these preserved lands and water bodies. We should preserve these lands for the future generations to benefit, as we did.
If we don't the future generations would have to see these lands only in pictures.

I have traveled to different countries and as the years go by, there are only concrete jungles. Green forests, lands and water bodies are degraded everywhere. When you step out, you breathe dust and soot from the vehicle exhausts and have to drink contaminated water. So it is important to save these remaining lands and water bodies.

Think of these environments -

Pristine lands with trees, plants, serene rivers, lakes, stream, birds, butterflies, animals and fresh air to breath and

Sterile lands with concrete buildings, polluted water bodies, depleting aquifers and particulates to breath

Which one you would choose from the above to live in. I would go with the first one.

I will also work on the second one as an Environmental Scientist to slowly make it as the first one. However, just to restore the native plants, it would take 40 years or more.

It is very difficult to restore the environment after damage, since the natural process takes so long. I researched on Chesapeake Bay environmental issues and after more than 18 years felt happy knowing that it is getting better. All those efforts of restoration have been fruitful.

So apart from party boundaries, let us all vote Yes on 1 - The Water and Land Conservation Amendment ( Note - without any additional tax burden ) in the coming Florida November 4th election to save these these precious Waters and Land, which will save all its inhabitants and more.

I love environment. Nature always fascinated and fascinates me. When I see greenery, chirping birds, wonderful animals, grand trees, water bodies, and mountains (all the nature), I feel happy from my soul. Good that I could complete a PhD in Environmental Sciences. I have been involved in Environmental Sciences from my under graduate degree and worked on several projects including EAFARMS.
