NATURAL INTELLIGENCE (NI) & SUPER INTELLIGENCE (AI ->SI) What a 100-Year-Old Banyan Tree Teaches Us About Nature’s Intelligence and the Future of AI A Humble Reflection on How One Living Tree - and the Vast Cosmos Beyond - Can Guide Us Toward a More Harmonious Artificial & Superintelligence (ASI) "Katrathu Kai Mann Alavu, Kallathathu Ulagalavu" (கற்றது கைமண் அளவு, கல்லாதது உலகளவு) — Avvaiyar, Legendary Ancient Tamil Poet & Philosopher " What one knows is merely a handful of sand; what remains unknown is the size of the world ." ENVIRONMENT • BIOLOGY • DATA • NATURAL INTELLIGENCE • ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE • SUPER INTELLIGENCE Artificial Intelligence is advancing at extraordinary speed. Large language models can write, reason, generate images, analyze scientific information and increasingly operate as agents. The next frontier - Artificial Super Intelligence, or ASI, is often imagined as a system capable ...
Will Artificial Intelligence (AI) Take Over by 2031? Weighing the Future of Human Life and Work: A prominent scientist recently suggested that artificial intelligence could surpass human capabilities and effectively "take over" by as early as 2031 - if not sooner. This claim, while bold, is not without basis. The acceleration in AI development, automation, and biotechnology is undeniable. But what does this mean for humanity? Will humans be left to meditate in isolation while machines do everything? The Automation of Industries AI is already making waves in numerous fields, and the next few years may redefine entire industries. Agriculture, for example, could undergo a radical transformation. Advanced sensors like the Libre 3 already monitor blood glucose levels, and future iterations may be able to track nutrient levels, vitamin deficiencies, and other biological markers. In this vision, AI-powered systems would analyze this data in real-time, automatically orderi...
